Jr. Family

This site contains our family
history. We are mainly Germans from the Böhmerwald of Bohemia and
Bavaria. The two areas are
contiguous to each other along the current German and Czech Republic
Border. We also have Hungarian roots. Our ancestors came in the wave
of European emigration in the years 1880-1900. They settled in Oshkosh,
Wisconsin because of jobs available in the woodworking industries and the
recruitment by these companies for immigrant labor. Wisconsin is also
similar to their homeland, with rolling hills and forests.
If you are descended from the
original immigrants from Bohemia and Bavaria that settled in Oshkosh
I want to hear from you. Please send me an
e-mail. I will link to your site or include your information.
