We settled in Oshkosh, Wisconsin after arriving
in America in 1884.
My great grandfather still used the second "n" and in fact has
it on his tombstone in 1934. His children dropped the second "n".

The Kindermann family in Bohemia lived in the
village of Schönau. It is now called Pekna in the Czech Republic. They
lived in house #'s 12, 13 and 14 according to the birth and marriage records
from the Trebon archives.
